Paint Industry

Due to low cost and platy structure, Talc is used in production of decorative paints, coatings, primers, enamels, adhesives, putties and other products of the industry. Talc improves fluidity and coverage properties of paint, provides air resistance to them, increase smoothness and stability of paint products.

Plastic Industry

The largest consumer of high quality ultra fine Talc. It is used in bumpers, dashboards, interior trims of automotives and also in creating computer and TV bodies, garden furniture etc.
Talc is being increasingly used in HDPE, PP, LDPE, PVC, ABS & thermosetting compounds. Due to blending characteristics & thermal and electrical resistant, it is an excellent filler. It provides the smooth feel to plastic surface. Talc imparts stiffness, hardness, tensile strength of plastic products, improves quality of their surfaces.

Paper Industry

Talc is used as a filler in the Paper industry, to give smoothness and opacity to paper. It is also used to control pitch and stickies and in paper coating. Talc gives smoothness, yellow index, porosity, opacity to paper, improves its yellow index and reduces the deterioration of the machinery.

Rubber And Foam Industry

Talc is used to prevent rubber moulds from sticking and also used as compounding material in the preparation of certain types of hard rubber. It also improves qualities and enhance UV radiation resistance of exterior parts of the rubber. Talc provide good compression resistance in sealants, and also create a barrier against liquids. Talc functions as insulators for cables.

The Ceramic Industry uses Talc for "body" and glazing of Wall Tiles, Sanitary ware, Electrical Insulating (Steatite Talc), Porcelain, Dinnerware and also used mostly as a cheap filler for the ceramic products.

Soaps & Detergents

Due to its natural quality of being inert and harmless to skin, it is the most popular filler and acts as a carrier of detergents and also reduces the cost of the production.

Textile Industry

Textile industry also prefers talc powder free from grit and colouration, which is used both for loading and bleaching certain types of cotton goods. Inferior grades are used in back filling textiles.

Cosmetic industry

Talc imparts stability, texture, water resistance and skin adhesion to cosmetics. Due to its chemical inertness lamellar structure, body talc acts as a perfume carrier.

Pharma Industry

The pharmaceutical industry requires highly pure, specialized and bacteria free talc for Tablets, Ointments and Dusting used as a filler..
